In March, the best cigar we have the pleasure to smoke was a Nicaraguan one, belonging to the Scandinavian Tobacco Group portfolio. For the first time, the prize goes to a Gordo (a 6×60, which means a ring gauge of 60 and a length of 152 mm).
The cigar is the CAO Pilon Toro (58 x 152 mm), which is capable of delivering a great aromatic intensity and results very satisfying. Despite the size, the cigar exhibits its character since the first puff, devoloping a rich smoke for the whole cigar lenght.
Price is interesting: considering the over 2 hours of smoke, in Europe this cigar is priced around 8€ and 6$ in USA.
The review of the CAO Pilon Toro is avalable on the CigarsLover Magazine Spring 2017 issue.
