Cavalier Genève has shipped a trio of new releases just before the Holidays. The first one is part of the Limited Release program: the Viso Jalapa Limited Release 5.25×56.

The Limited Release Series consists of limited productions of cigars derived from core products that have undergone tweaks and are presented in one size in limited supply. These cigars will be made available once before moving on to the next project that will be made available to the public.

Cavalier VJ Limited Release 2022

The Viso Jalapa Limited Release is a 5.25×56 x 133mm (5 1/4″) size, with the blend consisting of a Nicaraguan Viso Jalapa wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler. The cigar is offered as Parejo, while the core Viso Jalapa products are offered as soft box-pressed. 1948 boxes of 11 cigars are released, with the eleventh being a mysterious cigar. Every box is numbered by hand. Retail price is $12.50 per cigar.

The second release is the addition of the White Series Corona to its core line offering. The Corona is the 5th core offering in the Cavalier White Series line and measures 44 x 146 mm (5 3/4″) with the blend remaining the same, namely a Habano wrapper, over a Connecticut binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Paraguay. Retail price is $9.70 per cigar.

Cavalier WS Corona

The last one, the US Regional Exclusive, is a reblend and -brand of the line formerly known as USA Exclusive. “We have been working to separate this line from the affiliation it had with other products in the portfolio. We all went through the process of reimagining what that cigar was meant to be, now part of a Regional Exclusive section of the Cavalier lineup that will showcase several regional products for countries across the world,” said Sebastien Decoppet, founder of Cavalier Genève.

Cavalier RE United States

The US Regional Exclusive showcases a blend now including US-grown tobaccos, with the blend consisting of a Mexican San Andres wrapper over a Connecticut binder and filler from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Nicaragua, and the US.

All sizes come in 20-ct boxes, and the line consists of the following sizes:

  • Double Corona, 52 x 190mm (7 1/2″), $11.40/cigar
  • Petit Robusto, 50 x 101mm (4″), $9.90/cigar
  • Robusto, 50 x 127mm (5″), $10.70/cigar
  • Toro, 6×54 x 152mm (6″), $11.20/cigar
