Casdagli Cigars has expanded its Brothers of the Sabre line with two new additions: the “Epicurist” line, honoring General Antoine Charles Louis de Lasalle of France, and the “Vater” line, paying tribute to Field Marshal Joseph Radetzky von Radetz of Austria. These new cigar lines debuted at the InterTabac Dortmund 2024 trade show a couple of days ago. After the launch, both lines will be available to Casdagli Cigars’ distributors worldwide as general production cigars.
Jeremy Casdagli, Founder of Casdagli Cigars, comments on the expansion: “With my love of both Napoleonic history and the premium tobacco world, this ongoing project is a cause of great joy for me, from researching these great historical personalities and their love of tobacco to the selection of special vitolas and blends to honor them.”
Both line’s share the same two vitolas: a Figurado (47 x 159mm – 6 ½”) and Petit Robusto (52 x 102 mm – 4”). The Epicurist blend consists of an Ecuadorian Colorado Claro wrapper over a Dominican Yamasa binder and Dominican fillers. The Vater’s blend, on the other hand, is made up of an Ecuadorian wrapper over a Dominican binder and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, the USA, and Zimbabwe.
The cigars come in 20-count natural cedar piano top boxes, with the Figurados priced at $21 and the Petit Robustos at $13.70 per cigar. They will be available worldwide in mid-October 2024. They are blended by Hendrik Kelner Jr and produced at the Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic.
