It pays homage to the year when the Turrent family started cultivating tobacco; the cigar measures 54 x 165 mm and the blend is a mix of Mexican and Nicaraguan leaves.

Blend-wise, the 1880 uses a San Andres Negro as wrapper and a Mexican Criollo 98 for the binder; the filler includes San Andres Negro tobacco from 2007 (50%) and Criollo 98, from Nicaragua.

Produced in Mexico, it will be available in black varnished 10 count boxes and pricing will range from $15 – $17. Casa Turrent 1880 will be released annually in limited quantities.
