The Caldwell Girls Guns Gold is a cigar presented on the market at the end of 2022. The cigar, a “one-off” edition in a single vitola, comes in a Long Panetela (or Lancero) size, is part of Caldwell’s Crafted & Curated series.
The name, however, would seem to have been inspired by a song by the band Metric. The blend involves a Connecticut wrapper grown in Ecuador, a Sumatra binder, and a filler composed of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco. The production is limited to 250 20-ct boxes.
The cigar is dressed in a shiny Colorado Claro wrapper leaf with golden highlights. It is pretty smooth to the touch with slightly marked veins. The overall construction is good (sometimes there are some gaps in the filling), while the draw is just right.

Caldwell Girls Guns Gold: hints of nuts, wood, and honey are perceptible, while nuances of wood round out the cold draw.
Overall, the Caldwell Girls Guns Gold is a cigar that offers a smoke dominated by well-defined aromas and supported by a respectable strength that never becomes invasive. The creaminess of the smoke in the mouth is excellent and remains so until the end of the smoke.
