The Alec Bradley Black Market Illicit is a reinterpretation of the Black Market line, offered for sale only through tobacconists belonging to the TAA (Tobacconists’ Association of America) circuit. A Nicaraguan wrapper is used for the blend, two binders grown in Nicaragua and Honduras over Nicaraguan fillers.
It is offered in a single Toro size and comes in 22-ct boxes. They are produced at the Plasencia factory in Nicaragua.
The cigars are dressed in Colorado Maduro shaded leaves that are smooth to the touch. Construction is great and flawless.

Alec Bradley Black Market Illicit: hints of undergrowth and vegetal notes are perceptible in the cold draw, with hints of black pepper. The opening is sweet, with aromas of earth and herbs. There are also nuances of walnut present.
In the first third, notes of earth and undergrowth emerge, with hints of mushrooms. A sweet but distinct note of vanilla is also perceptible. Black pepper remains very present in the background. Very creamy. Strength is slightly above medium (3.5/5).
In the central part, it turns to cocoa beans and black pepper. The spices increase in intensity and culminate into chili spice. Hints of honey are also perceptible. The strength increases, reaching a medium-full level (4/5) and the flavor intensity becomes very pronounced.
In the last third, vegetal notes are released, flanked by herbs. Hot spices remain well present in the finish. Strength remains constant (4/5).
Overall, the Alec Bradley Black Market Illicit gives off a very balanced and creamy smoke. The flavor profile is well structured and deep, and the smoke is balanced and has a good evolution. The intensity of the flavors is marked. Fulfilling.
