The ADVentura Conqueror Canonero is a cigar made in the Dominican Republic, from the duo of Marcel Knobel and Henderson Ventura. As the name suggests, Canonero, which literally translated is “gunboat”, is a hefty cigar, which certainly does not go unnoticed. The cigar comes in a 60 ring gauge size, with a length equal to that of a Churchill (178mm – 7″).
All the tobaccos that are used for the Canonero, as well as for all the cigars belonging to the the Conqueror line, are aged for a minimum of 4 years (even 5 for some types of leaves). An additional 5-month rest is added once the cigars are rolled.
The cigars are dressed in an oily Maduro shaded wrapper leaf. The construction is excellent and flawless.

Adventura Conqueror Canonero: the cold draw reveals a mix of earth, cocoa and spices. The opening brings notes of nuts, mainly walnut, and earth to the palate.
Overall, the ADVentura Canonero Conqueror releases a balanced smoke, with a linear evolution. It is a good large cigar, which despite its size, gives rise to a manageable and composed smoke.
