BLTC Orthodox

Black Label Trading Co (BLTC) is set to ship its latest Limited Release, Orthodox, which is handcrafted at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua. This small batch release is offered to retailers who attended this year’s PCA tradeshow.

According to James Brown, creator of Black Label Trading Co./Black Works Studio and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra, Orthodox is all about getting back to the brand’s roots. He said, “We’ve done a lot over the last ten years, but at our core, we are about highlighting the strength and intensity of Nicaraguan tobacco. That’s what I went for with the Orthodox. This cigar is bold but very balanced and extremely complex.”

The ORTHODOX is made in Nicaragua and comes with a Mexico San Andrés wrapper, Ecuador Habano binder, and Nicaraguan filler. It is available in three sizes: a 46 x 127 mm (5″) Corona Gorda, a 52 x 114 mm (4 1/2″) Robusto, and a 50 x 146 mm (5 3/4″) Toro. All sizes are packaged in 20-ct boxes, and the suggested retail price is $12.50 for the Corona Gorda and Robusto and $13 for the Toro.
