Pete Johnson is going Toro deep this year. Some Tatuaje and L’Atelier lines will soon be seeing a new addition of a 50 x 152mm (6″) Toro size vitola. The Tatuaje lines that will receive a new Toro are: Tatuaje Selección de Cazador Brown Label, Tatuaje Verocú, Nuevitas Estelí, Tatuaje Havana VI, Tatuaje Negociant, L’Atelier Selection Speicale, Surrogates Bone Crusher, Cabaiguan Guapos, and the La Mission de L’Atelier. Nine of Pete’s lines in total will be adding the Toro vitola.
If that wasn’t exciting enough, Pete has decided to give his fans the Toro taste in two different sampler packs. There will be a medium-bodied fresh pack sampler and a full-bodied fresh pack sampler. The medium-bodied sampler will contain the Havana VI, Cabaiguan Guapos, Tatuaje Negociant, Nuevitas Estelí, and the L’Atelier Selection Speciale. The fuller sampler has the Tatuaje Selección de Cazador, Tatuaje Verocú, La Mission L’Atelier, and the Surrogates Bone Crusher. Pete added a Fausto to the stronger sampler to make it a total of five cigars in either pack. The Fausto already has a Toro in its normal production. Pricing will be $35 MSRP either pack.
Sampler packs should be available shortly after this year’s July trade show. Fingers crossed that the pandemic will soon be over, so release dates are not pushed like in 2020.
