Perdomo Lot 23 Natural Sun Grown line was born in 2000 on the intuition of Nick Perdomo senior. Like for the great wines, the idea was to use extremely fertile land in Estelì (Nicaragua) to grow all the tobacco necessary for the creation of a cigar. Furthermore, among the seeds used are also Cuban seeds. The binder and filler tobaccos of the Sun Grown line are then aged for five years.
Over time, the “Lot. 23” project has developed further, and today it is offered to the public with three wrapper versions, Maduro, Connecticut, and Natural Sun Grown. All versions are made up of the same five sizes, among which is also the Toro.
Visually, the cigar is wrapped in a shiny Colorado shaded leaf. To the touch, the texture is smooth and without any accentuated veins. Construction and filling are good.

Perdomo Lot 23 Natural Sun Grown Toro: unlit, you can perceive rich scents of barnyard and wood. Once lit, notes of hot spices, earth, and old wood emerge.
Overall, this Perdomo Lot 23 Natural Sun Grown Toro is a simple smoke that is monotonous at times. The poor evolution of a size like the Toro, especially between the second and the last third, is quite evident. However, the flavors vibrant. If you add the full strength to this, the result is a linear and rustic cigar.
