H. Upmann Anejados Robusto

H. Upmann Anejados Robusto: light hay scents on the cold draw. The first few delivers a rich mix of hazelnut and walnut, enriched by piquant spices.

H. Upmann Anejados Robusto

The first section exhibits aromas of walnut and wood, together with vegetal hints. The piquant spices are still well perceivable in the background. Strength is mild to medium (2.5/5).

The vegetal notes get now more pronounced, accompanied by seasoned wood. A light bitterness is perceivable. Strength doesn’t change (2.5/5).

Nor the flavor profile, nor the strength change. The bitterness is now a little more accentuated.

Overall, the H. Upmann Anejados Robusto is not among the best performing cigars belonging to the Anejados line. It is more disappointing though, because the expectations for this cigar were a little higher. The flavor profile is rather limited and so the evolution.
