The Wise Man Maduro are cigars produced by the Foundation Cigar Company (a company founded by Nichols Melillo), it is available in the Robusto, Corona Gorda, Toro Huaco, Churchill, Torpedo and Lancero sizes.
The cigar is dressed in a rather rough Maduro shaded wrapper leaf, slightly motleyed and showing the classic light dots left by the micro-fermentation. The cigar is not perfectly cylindrical but rather delicately pressed.

The Wise Man Maduro Torpedo: the cold draw releases hints of cocoa accompanied by spicy notes and black pepper. The first puffs confirm the sensations perceived by the unlit cigar, cocoa and spices.
The first third expresses hints of cocoa, oriental spices (a mix of incense, cinnamon, nutmeg) and black pepper. Continuing, a hint of cedar wood appears. Strength is medium (3/5).
In the second third, the cocoa aroma is not as pronounced and is joined by hints of roasted coffee. Halfway trough, it is possible to feel a light leather and earth note. The peppery component drops and the strength stands at medium – full (4/5).
The last third continues with the same flavors from the second third, while notes of hazelnut and light balsamic herbs are added. Strength remains medium – full (4/5).
The Wise Man Maduro Torpedo is balanced, with an never overwhelming strength combined with an excellent evolution. Flawless as far as combustion and draw goes. Compared with The Wise Man Maduro Corona Gorda, the Torpedo is less exuberant.
