Muwat Kentucky Fire Cured (or KFC) line is produced by Drew Estate with an undisclosed blend. What is for certain is that the tobaccos have been fire cured. The Just a friend, a Toro, is the largest size of the line (over the years, there have been particular sizes or one offs).

Upon visual examination, the wrapper leaf is of a shiny Maduro tonality. It is silky to the touch, with rather pronounced veins. The overall manufacture is great, with an even filling.
Muwat – Kentucky Fire Cured Just A Friend: the aromas on the nose are powerful and well defined: earth and peat are pronounced, while pepper and rubber are well distinguishable.
Once lit, this Toro is very sapid. Aromatically, there is an evident note of leather and earth, over a background of coffee, pepper and peat. Strength is medium – light (2/5).
The flavor profile becomes richer: mineral hints and coffee appear, with less evident notes of earth and peat. Strength remains stable on a medium – light level (2/5).
trength remains stable throughout the smoke (2/5).
Despite the appearance and the flavors on the cold draw, that might suggest a powerful smoke, this Just a Friend, reveals a rather contained body. The strength is always composed and doesn’t overwhelm the flavor profile, making it a balanced smoke. It lacks in complexity and finesse.
