Aesthetically, the cigar is dressed in a silky Colorado shaded wrapper. To the touch, imperfections are not perceptible. The small wrinkles visible in the pictures are due to the conservation of this cigar, wrapped in cellophane and stored in humidor.
Partagas Seleccion Privada No.1: unlit, it delivers hints of earth and herbs. The opening brings balsamic nuances to the palate.
aromas of earth and wood, which are in the background. Strength is medium (3/5).
In the second third, to the herbal component (which at times recalls chicory) honey-like nuances are added. In the aftertaste, a note of undergrowth is now perceptible. Strength remains constant (3,5/5).
The last third continues on the notes of balsamic herbs, together with undergrowth in background, and joined by hints of dried mushrooms getting close to the finale. Strength increases slightly (3,5/5).
Although the aromatic palette is quite contained, the aromas are very structured. However, it is not easy to smoke and it is a cigar that should be smoked very carefully, to fully enjoy it.
