VILLIGER 1888 Corona-2

Villiger 1888 Corona: unlit, it recalls flavors of ripe fruits (very distinct), on a delicate background of coffee and vanilla.

The first third is characterized by a totally suited sweet flavor. The aromas that accompany this simple impression are peanuts, predominant in respect to barely hinted coffee and wood. Strength is medium light (2/5).

VILLIGER 1888 Corona-3

The middle section features an abrupt evolution: the initial sweetness, very pronounced in the beginning, is now less perceptible. The aromas increase in intensity, coffee (average) on a base of spices and walnut (barely hinted). Strength remains stable (2/5).

In the final third it reveals a light bitterness. The dominant flavor becomes slightly sapid, that equally recall the aromas of wood and walnut. Strength stays constant (2/5).

VILLIGER 1888 Corona-4

Overall, the Villiger 1888 Corona is an easy to enjoy smoke. The first half is more performant. While the second half is in parts on the razor’s edge, due to the balance. Persistency and evolution are below average.
