Lampert Cigars presented one of its latest additions to its Oro Line, the Kingpin, at this year’s Intertabac. The thick Double Figurado size is made by Tabacos de Costa Rica. Although it starts slow, the cigar brings a lush and complex flavor profile to the palate once it opens up, with the strength level supporting it perfectly.
Once lit, the Kingpin opens with hazelnut, leather, baking spices, and herbal nuances. In the second third, the herbs turn balsamic, and the cinnamon note emerges as the main spice. The smoke becomes spicier towards the last third, and the cinnamon note changes to black pepper.

Those who scored the highest among the cigars tested during the year in blind tastings and reviews get re-selected. These products are then tested once again in a new blind tasting, which means not knowing what they are during the tasting. The test results are then compared, and the TOP 5 are created.
