Great Wall Cigar was founded in 1918 in the city of Shifang, and is China’s biggest cigar producer today. The history of growing tobacco in that city goes back over 400 years. The cigar reveals a flavorful, bold, and rich, yet balanced, flavor profile. All this is paired with an impeccable construction.
Aromas of wood, hay, and nuts give way to the smoke and are joined by well-marked notes of leather and black pepper. The smoke itself is quite creamy. The black pepper notes become spicier towards the end, culminating in chili spice.
