The Heritage line of Dunhill debutted on the market in the end of 2015. The launch was held during the IPCPR and, since the beginning, the will to create a link to the so famous and notorious Cuban Dunhill was evident: the bands and the boxes recalls those great cigars that were in production back in the ’80.

The cigar is box pressed and it is wrapped up in a colorado maduro shade wrapper, with some red reflex. To the touch it is silky, with very little veins. The filling is generous and with no defect.
Dunhill Heritage Robusto: before lighting it up, it delivers some nutty scents, together with honey and coffee.
The first third brings to the palate a sweet flavor, with an umami hint. The developed aromas are complex and well blended together: there are mineral and balsamic notes, walnut, vegetal and hints of wood. The strength is light (2/5).
In the middle sector, the umami flavor come less, making the base sweet. The aromas change: the walnut is still present, but now it is accompanied by nuts and coffee, together with some spices. The strength rises a little bit (2,5/5).
In the last third the base is both savory and sweet, while the aromatic palette become more masculine. Spices, walnut and earth are followed by green pepper. The strength reaches the medium level (3/5).
Overall, what really impress about this Robusto is that in its only 127 mm it seems to smoke threee different cigars. Despite this, the balance is great. The Dunhill Heritage Robusto gives off a very nice smoke.
